Sowing Instructions

DIRECT SOW IN FULL SUN WHEN SOIL TEMPS ARE ABOVE 60°F

Starting Indoors

6-10 WEEKS BEFORE LAST FROST

Growing Tips

Direct sow your seeds in the garden when soil temperatures are between 60-70°F. Transplant from indoor starts when soil temperatures are around 70°F. Plant multiple seeds outdoors or in each cell (indoor starting) and thin to the most successful plants.

We tend to plant Sunflowers at random without thinning and allow them to establish on their own without intervention.

Culinary Uses

Mammoth Grey Sunflowers are known for their large heads and numerous seeds. The seeds harvested are usually roasted, salted and eaten as a snack. Birds also love sunflower seeds, so do not be surprised to see them stealing your seed crop.

Harvesting Seed

Harvesting sunflower seeds can be fun for everyone. Wait until the sunflower petals start to wilt and fall off the sunflower head. The head should start to become dry and brown and may even start to fall over.

Once the heads start to become brown, place a paper bag upside-down over the head of the sunflower. (This protects your seeds from birds and squirrels).

Check your sunflower heads daily to see if the seeds have become hard. Once the seeds are hard enough to harvest, cut the stem of the flower and hang it upside down to dry thoroughly. Once the heads and seeds have dried enough, running your hands back and forth over the seeds will release them.

Roast your seeds as a snack or save them for next years harvest. (We recommend saving your seeds from the first harvest to produce hundreds of plants the next year)

So lightweight, so smooth
I was looking for a retinol eye cream and decided to try this since I liked this brand before. The texture is super lightweight and absorbs well, and my makeup doesn’t pill at all after using it. Not sure yet about long-term wrinkle results, but it keeps my under-eye really hydrated and smooth. I’ve also been using it on my smile lines. lowkey excited to see more results!

Helped a bit with barrier, but it must be used very sparingly, and didn't improve fine lines for me.
I had mixed feelings about this eye cream. On paper, the combination of ingredients such as retinol, niacinamide, and centella sounded promising, especially for targeting texture and supporting the skin barrier. However, in practice, I found the formula to be a bit too strong for my sensitive eye area. I had to be very careful not to apply it too close to my eyes to avoid irritation. The cream is very thin and lightweight, and I found that it did absorb well without leaving too much of a greasy residue once applied. After about two weeks of consistent use, I did notice some positive changes. The skin under my eyes felt slightly more elastic, and my skin barrier seemed to be benefiting overall, which I appreciated. That said, I didn’t see any real improvement in fine lines or firmness, which is one of the main reasons I reach for an eye cream with retinol in the first place. The price point is definitely affordable, but it also feels like a case of getting what you pay for. While it’s not a bad product, it didn’t stand out enough for me to consider replacing my regular eye cream. At the end of the day, skincare is a long game. What we do now often shows up years down the line, so I do think it’s worth investing in higher-quality formulas when possible. For me, this one was just okay: some mild benefits, but ultimately unremarkable.

Pleasantly surprised
I’m two jars in and love it. I do use Botox, retinol, a good face wash, wash moisturize twice daily, etc etc. I struggle with moisturizer because I’m prone to breakouts. Idk what it is about this one but my skin loves it. It feels refreshed and soft. Added bonus, my eyebrows and lashes have gotten longer and darker quick! Obviously we all respond differently to products but I’ll be keeping this in my rotation

A thick and rich cream that smooths on nicely!
So I jumped on the Korean skincare bandwagon and decided to purchase some of the DR MELAXIN Products to try! I read many good reviews and decided it was worth the money. This first product is the Dr Melaxin Calcium cemenrete calcium volume cream. It comes in a 1.76 ounce glass jar. On the label there is a lot of word descriptions so I will add a few: Ex volume firming, rebornic 10,000 ppm hydrolyzed elastin and collagen extract. I have photographed label for viewing. The directions indicate to "apply a small amount of cream onto your face especially around the under-eye area". I found the cream thick and rich and I used it in addition to another Dr Melaxin neck and face product so I concentrated on only neck and under eye area. It is neutral in scent and is very thick so it feels like it is absorbing nicely. I have been using it for about a month now and have definitely noticed some improvement in the neck area so i will continue to use and layer with other products. I do recommend this line as the ingredients seem effective so far!

Good product for face.
Great product. Works well with decreasing lines in face after half is used and with the serum. It does leave somewhat of a sticky (not grimy) texture which is uncomfortable if using at night.
